Slides

Residential slides are available in 4 designs – straight, wavy, spiral and tube

The wavy slides come in 2 lengths – 2.4m and 3.0m
The straight slides also come in 2 lengths - 2.4m and 3.0m

Our commercial slides come in plastic or stainless steel and we offer a choice of 4 lengths - 2.0m, 2.7m, 3.0m, 3.5m and 4.2m

Your choice of slide length is determined by the height of the platform (or step-set) it is attached to; too short & the angle will be too steep, too long and the slope will be too gentle (and water will pool at the bottom).

For optimum use, the length of the slide body should be twice the platform height

So, 2.4m long slides should be mounted from a platform approximately 1.2m high while 3.0m long slides should be mounted from a platform approximately 1.5m high

The spiral and tube slides are designed to attached onto 1.5m and 2.1m high platforms respectively.

For a standalone slide, you should use the manufacturers recommended step-sets (e.g. tp Toys and R&T)
