Our domestic Zip Wire kit comes pre-assembled for easy installation and has many advantages over it's rivals:

This Zip Wire kit does not include the climbing frame/trees needed for mounting, and is designed for light domestic use by children aged from 5 years. It is not suitable for adult use or in a commercial environment.

As a guide, the manufacturer suggests the following differences in height between the two cable supports, however, you are free to make the ride faster or slower:
- 23m = 75cms
- 20m = 60cms
- 17m = 45cms

Safety certificates: Approved for domestic use only (BS5665/EN71)
Safety perimeter: 2m minimum recommended. Use common sense when installing, eg. avoid pathways and ensure the upright are capable of supporting the weight.
Tools: You will need 8 and 10mm spanner/socket, pliers; hammer and screwdriver.
User weight: The manufacturer recommends a maximum of 16 stone (102kgs), but we would recommend 10 stone (60kgs). The reason is because heavier users stretch the cable, requiring more regular tightening.
This product is designed for light domestic use by a child. It is not suitable for use by heavy children or adults. It is not suitable for commercial use.
Warranty: All our own brand Just Outdoor Toys (JOT) products have a 1 year warranty.
Surface rust is excluded (galvanised steel cables can have surface rust if unused for a while, so consider a coating of oil/grease/WD40)
One of our prototype platforms using our Swing Frame Corners (x 4), Ground Anchors (x 2 pairs) and 100mm diameter x 3.6m roundwood poles. Platform made from Decking & the Slide is optional:
The poles for the landing have been cut to approx. 2.7m length, giving a frame height of approx. 2.3m.
Customers may find it useful to add a small, soft tyre (e.g. wheelbarrow) to help absorb the impact, as shown below:
