Premium Swing Hook - Round (Green)
This Swing Hook Round with green powder coated strap (JOT-HOOKRG)
is ideal for attaching swing accessories (e.g. swing seats, ladders,
trapeze bar, climbing ropes, hammock, tyre swing) to a 10cms (4")
diameter wooden swing beam.
Made up of a sprung
loaded clip (carabiner), a nylon bush (for reduced friction), a 3mm thick powder coated collar and a bolt and nylock nut.
For attachments such as a climbing rope you need one bolt, for swing seats you will need two.
The thickness of the swing beam needs to be 10cms (see image below).
For attaching twin rope swing seats, we recommend that you mount your swing hooks 45cm - 60cm apart.
You may wish to add a woodscrew to lock the collar in place (max diameter 9mm)

Our opinion:
We saw this design of swing hook working well on the Plum and tp swing
frames but the collars were a little thin at 2mm so we sourced our own
that use 3mm thick steel. The
tolerances are fine so 10cms diameter timber is the absolute maximum. Less prone to squeeking due to the nylon bush and the sprung loaded clip prevents accidental unhooking.
