Biggin Hill Primary School playground, Biggin Hill, Kent

The Problem
Biggin Hill Primary School had an unused hedged area at the front of the school which
would be ideal for an all weather school playground.
It was safely behind the main school gates and in full view of many classrooms.


The Project
Following our Site Survey and meeting with the both the Head and Deputy Head we
supplied 3D plans to help visualise the schools requirements;
2 x Jungle Towers
2 x Bottom Clubhouses
Connecting Bridge
Rock Wall
Cargo Net
Monkey Bars (added after 3D plans)
Chime Activity Panel



The Installation
The school was undergoing a major refurbishment during the holidays so the main
contractor removed the hedging and top soil, inserted the curbstones and laid a
compacted aggregate base;


We then delivered and installed the commercial play equipment;




The Inspection
The main School Contractor then supplied and laid the greeen Wetpour safety surfacing;
