Customer Feedback
"Just to thank you for the great job that you and your colleagues did in installing our new
climbing frame. Form start to finish, from the first order to the final installation the whole
process was a smooth, professional and rewarding experience. But not as rewarding as
when the children returned from their summer holidays and saw it for the first time. It has
been a big hit in the school, especially those of our lower functioning children who find
traditional play somewhat difficult. So thanks for the whole experience and hope to do
business with you in the future."
Dave Howell, Project Manager, Ashgrove School
The Problem Ashgrove School needed to update its old metal playground facilities and provide a more challenging environment for older pupils. As a school for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) the age and size of some of the users would be higher than usual so the strength of the playground equipment was even more important.
The Project To design, supply and install a large, durable wooden climbing frame with challenging accessories and walkways: 1 x Mountain Tower (Maxi 2.1m platform) 3 x Jungle Towers (Midi 1.5m platforms) 2 x Bottom Clubhouses 2 x 2.5m Bridges 3m Commercial Slide 3m Gangplank Rockwall Firepole Access Ladder Grassmat Safety Surface

The Installation The four climbing towers have been assembled, their locations measured and then set into concrete. Then the accessories such as this Rockwall were added;

and the double skinned, commercial specification 3m Slide;

Finally, the Grassmat Safety Surface is laid;

Inspection Note the grass has now grown through the Grassmat safety surface to give a more natural finish;
