Vertical Tyre Swing Seat

A strong vertical tyre swing seat which arrives fully assembled.
The ropes are adjustable and ideal for swing frame heights between 2.1m and 2.5m.

Many customers attach our tyre swings to tree branches so we now sell matching rope by the
whole meter.
It is only £1 per meter so don't worry about ordering plenty!

Obviously each installation is different so we cannot provide advice or guarantees but here are
some tips;

make sure your branch is strong enough!
attach the ropes as close to the trunk as practical
don't damage the bark by drilling holes or allowing rubbing
order plenty of spare rope;

if the branch is below 2.8m, order 1m of rope for knots & adjustment
if you can reach your branch by ladder, order that much rope
(e.g. 3m branch = 3m of rope)
if you have to throw the rope over buy twice as much rope
(e.g. 4m branch = 8m of rope)

To fit a high branch;

attach one end of the rope to a hammer & throw over the branch
let the rope down evenly either side of the branch so you can easily work on it
remove the hammer
tie a noose in one end and pass the other end through it
pull the loose end until the rope securely wraps around the branch
tie the loose end to your swing seat (see Knots below)
