Please
note: Timber is a
natural product and 'shakes' (cracks &
splits) are natural
features of any timber and will vary in size, expanding and contracting,
depending on ambient temperature and humidity. Roundwood
structures (e.g. hout-land & tp Sherwood range) are more prone to shakes
since the timber younger. However, the products have been designed with this in
mind so provided the shake does not exceed 3% of the circumference or continues
through to the centre of the timber then the structure will not be affected
