Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones are probably the most popular single item in all Trim Trails.
Not only are they cheap and challenging but their lay-out is totally flexible.
For example, you may wish to use three Step Stones as a more exciting approach and exit to each main Adventure Trail item.
Or, use a set of six to challenge children to stay off the ground in between items.
Either way, Step Stones help to develop balance and co-ordination.
Our Stepping Stones are available in both timber and rubber.

Made from Southern Yellow Pine, the timber is naturally cheaper and comes as a set of six posts.
During installation, they can be arranged in any combination but must be dug vertically into the ground approximately 60cms.
As with all commercial play equipment, the posts must be set in place using concrete.
All these Step Stones are 90cms long when delivered so there is plenty of opportunity to vary the installed height.
Furthermore, the top surface area is a substantial 130mm x 90mm (5″ x 3.5″) and is grooved for improved grip.

Made from a steel pole capped with a black rubber top.
The steel tube has been galvanised and then powder coated in one of five colours; black, blue, green, red and yellow.
Like the timber Stepping Stones, the poles are available in a range of heights from 200 – 700mm above ground.
While the rubber cap is made from recycled styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), which offers good abrasion resistance and aging stability.
Not only are these brighter than the timber option but the cap is much larger (300mm dia) and dimpled. As a result it is easier to use and safer in the event of a fall.
One other advantage of our Rubber Stepping Stones is that they arrive fully assembled.
Pricing is approximately £100 each but varies according to post height, colour and quantity so please contact us for a quotation.
